About FishHead Gear

Like many great stories, FishHead Gears roots date back to the early days of working out of our garage.  With a passion for fishing and a desire to work more closely with the fishing industry rather than merely participating as weekend warriors, we jumped into the fishing apparel business with both feet.  Our concept was simple; create great fishing apparel that features original artwork, fun tag lines, and top notch screen printing on high quality garments.   Match that with some first class headwear and see where it goes. 

After a couple of years of selling at tournaments, outdoor shows and on the internet, we were ready to get FishHead Gear out into stores when Hurricane Katrina struck and wiped out our entire coastline.  Needless to say, we were forced to spend a great deal of time in clean up and recovery mode, but the creative juices continued to flow during this period and we kept plugging away with the development of new designs to expand the line.  FishHead Gear launched its new website and an expanded line of saltwater and freshwater designs in the Spring of 2007, and will be available in stores across the United States as well as internationally before the end of the year.
